The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited 842 artists and film executives who've 'distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures', to join the organisation's new member roster for 2019.

Invitations have been extended to personalities from 59 countries, '50% of whom are female and 29% are people of colour', with stars including Letitia Wright, Claire Foy, Lady Gaga, Barry Keoghan, Jack O'Connell, and Adele.
